‘THE
CHILDREN’S MUSEUM FOR PEACE’ held a workshop on I HAVE A DREAM……… OF
A CLEAN, GREEN WORLD.
The aims
of the workshop were:-

Creating
awareness about basic environmental issues i.e. climate change,
global warming, unsustainable consumption of resources,
environmental degradation etc.
·
Realizing
the importance of making students environmentally conscious.
·
Understanding why we are facing an environmental crisis and what the
consequences of the continuous abuse of our natural environment can
be.
·
Creating
awareness about concrete steps that can be taken by individuals,
schools and societies to help protect the environment.
The
workshop highlighted the urgency of Global warming and its
devastating consequences.
The
Principal Mrs. Parakh during the workshop impressed upon the
participants the fact that as a teaching community it was our
religious, social, moral and ethical obligation to join the fight
against Global Warming, to stay educated and accept the fact that
Mother Earth is in grave danger.
