The BVS Parsi High School held its 149th Sports Day at
the K.P.I on Saturday 09th January,2010.
The Chief Guest
Lt.Col(Retd) Asghar Abbas Naqvi,
Additional Director (Colleges),Education
Directorate, DHA, was welcomed by the Principal Mrs. Parakh and
excorted to the Sports ground. A colourful P.E Display was performed
by the students of grade III, IV & V. They also put up an emotional
sequence on Michael Jackson’s famous song “HEAL THE WORLD”. The
performance was lauded by the parents and guests enthusiastically.
After the Head Boy, Shaun Malbari took the oath on all the
competitors and asked the Chief Guest Lt.Col(Retd)
Asghar Abbas Naqvi
to release the balloons, the track events commenced.
The school had invited three judges Mr. Muhammad Aslam from The City
School, Mr. Muhammad Haneef Yousuf from C.A.S School and Mr. Abdul
Mannan from the International School of Studies.
Two events one for parents and one for the primary teachers was
cheered loudly by the students.
The Sports Day ended with the chief guest thanking the school for
inviting him and giving away the prizes and medals.
The House Points are as follows:-
FIRST POSITION QUAID-E-AZAM HOUSE : 151 POINTS
SECOND POSITION LANCELOT HOUSE : 99 POINTS
THIRD POSITION SOPARIVALA HOUSE : 98 POINTS
FOURTH POSITION REZASHAH HOUSE : 82 POINTS
