The senior students of grade X,
volunteer every Friday during the Holy month of Ramazan to
distribute food and provide Iftar for the relatives of the poor
patients at some of the city’s main hospitals. On Friday 4th
September, 2009, 20 students visited Civil Hospital, Karachi and
served Iftari to about 150 poor people. This was done with their own
money and the provision provided by the parents. On Friday 11th
September, 2009 the students visited The Jinnah Hospital ans served
Iftari to 125 poor people.
The BVS family of parents, students
and staff are always ready to take part in any social work activity
and have believed strongly in giving back to the society.

VISIT TO CIVIL HOSPITAL
20 students
from grade IX and X visited the Civil Hospital on Thursday 3rd
September, 2009 to witness first hand, how the poor patient welfare
committee operates at the Hospital.
