The much
awaited and much anticipated “Scouts Carnival” was held in the
school grounds on Sunday 16th August, 2009.
Mr.
Mehelli Dinshaw, "great-grandson" of Seth Khurshedji Soparivala and
"great
-great-grandson" of Seth Shahpurji Soparivala inaugurated the carnival at
11:00 a.m.
He
visited various stalls and took special interested in Young Saver’s
Account by Bank Al Habib and was happy to note that that young
children are encouraged to save money. He was well satisfied with
the security arrangement and lauded the Scouts for a carnival that
was well organized. Mr. Dinshaw was impressed to see young students
at many stalls and was happy to see great enthusiasm at the games
stalls.
The
carnivals ended at 11: 30 p.m. with the Band “Raeth” performing for
an enthusiastic crowd.
