All three sections of grade 7 visited the DAWN OFFICE OF NEWS PAPERS to witness the printing of the eveninger THE STAR. This was in collaboration with DAWN IN EDUCATION PROGRAMME that they offer for schools. The students visited the press and were shown how a newspaper is printed, edited pictures processed and how it is distributed to hawkers. These excursions were spread over four days. With the students being accompanied by 2 staff members each time, these visits were highly informative as well as educational and DAWN IN EDUCATION is the first Newspapers Education Programme in Pakistan.
