To commemorate the EARTH DAY 2007, students and staff members of the BVS Parsi High School made a pledge to look after their planet Earth.

The senior students were shown the independent documentary made by the past Vice-President of the USA, AL Gore which won an Oscar, called the INCONVENIENT TRUTH. Emphasis were laid on the fact that “Global Warming” is a reality and it is happening. We as individuals can do our bit to keep the Earth a living planet.

The students and staff members dipped the palms of their right hands in green paints and printed them on proper making a promise to themselves and the Mother Earth. The huge mural made of recycled paper was hung in the school for all to see and reflect on the simple acts of consideration that can reverse the process of global warming.
