The BVS
Parsi High School’s 150 years celebration started off with prayers
and a function on the 23rd of May, 2009 at the school
grounds. People from various walks of life were invited.
The
Chairman of the managing Committee of the school gave his welcome
address followed by Mrs. Deena Mistri, the past Principal who talked
of her days as a teacher and then a Principal. Dr Kershaw Khambatta,
a renowned physician and surgeon who graduated from the BVS in 1941,
reminisced about his school days. Mr. Anis H. Younus, a member of
the school’s Alumni talked about the role of the Alumni and Mrs.
Kermin Parakh, the present Principal of the school gave a vote of
thanks.
