Independence Day Celebrations: 14th August 2008

On 14th August 2008, BVS Parsi High School celebrated the 61st birthday of their beloved country. This auspicious day was honored beautifully by the young gentlemen of the school. From the hoisting of the national flag till the end of the ceremony, the enthusiastic expressions on every students’ face were to be seen. Everyone enjoyed and showed their commitment for their country. It started with a march past, and later continued with many dedicated speeches and songs in praise of the country. The students showed their zeal, whether it was to participate or to listen.

Principal Mrs. Kermin Parakh congratulated the students and staff on this happy occasion and rejoiced with them. Medals were awarded to the  students for merit excellence.

The winning house of this ceremony was Soparivala with 92 points. The second one was Rezashah with 83 points. Following them was the  Quaid-e-Azam house with 81 points and the 4th house was Lancelot with 60 points.

By looking at the scenario it was quite evident that the future leaders of Pakistan would be intelligent and dedicated, just like Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other historic heroes…
