PRIMARY ENGLISH ELOCUTION
SEPTEMBER, 2008

The Primary English Elocution took place on 8th September, 2008. It was hosted by Kamran Sakrani, the English Society Secretary and judged by the senior teachers of the Primary Section of Habib Public School, Mrs. Yasmeen Tanviri and Mrs. Sheema Mehdi. The programme was divided into 3 groups. The first group A comprised of Class I and II children. The first prize in this group went to Muhammad Amaan of I A, second prize went to Muhmmad Munib Siddiqui of I C and 3rd went to Syed Hassan of I A. The second group, group B, comprised of class 3 and 4 students. The first prize in this group went to Farjad-ur-Rehman class IV A. The second went to Hasham Qaiser of III C and 3rd went to Hammad Shezad of Class III B. The last group was group ‘C’, students of class V competing for the converted shield of  Naoroji Ratanji Wadia. In this group the 3rd prize went to Syed Abdullah Jelani V B of class V . 2nd prize went to Bakir Hasan Jaffery of Class V B and the shield holders were Muhammad Ali Sohail of class V B and Aresh  Gamwala of class V A. Overall house that was the winner was Rezashah with 17 points. 2nd position was Quaid-e-Azam with 15 points. 3rd was Lancelot with 8 points and 4th was Soparivala with 5 points.

Mrs. Sheema expressed her thoughts on this function and encouraged everyone to try again and again. The Principal, Mrs. Parakh also enjoyed and praised the whole student council for their hard work and dedication. She also thanked the judges for sharing their precious time with the school and coming to judge the function. The function ended with a group picture of all participants with the judges.
